There’s a cool new company in Atlanta called Urban Vines Wine Company. It’s owned by Chef India Ramos and Rachelle Lovett, two women who not only make and bottle their own wine, but can also make customized bottles for you. They have been putting together some very dope events over the last few months. Their flagship event has been their “Food Club” parties where they aim to unite everybody that loves food, wine and Hip Hop…all at once. At these parties, Urban Vines co-founder Chef India Ramos cooks REAL food and supplies endless drinks, including the wine that she makes.
Their next “Food Club” event is Wine & Rhyme on July 9th at Metro Fuxon. The night will include performances from Yamin Semali, Allah’s Apprentice and others. I’ve hosted an event where Allah’s Apprentice has performed…dude raps, plays the trumpet, freestyles and hit backflips on stage brah. I am not lying.
They will also be celebrating the release of the Summer issue of The Food Club Magazine which includes interviews with some of your favorite artists and dope cooking recipes.
If this sounds interesting, you can purchase tickets to the event HERE.
