This is the first episode of Artemus Jenkins’ new documentary “P.O.P (Power of Pussy).” Whether you enjoy strippers or not, you can’t deny that it is one of the more intriguing professions out there. It probably deserves it’s own chapter in your Psychology book from college.
In this first clip, cameras catch up with stripper turned entrepreneur GiGi Maguire who has turned her skill set into a business, Pole FanAddicts, where women from all over come to learn and get their sexy on.
It also tells the story of “Cali,” a dancer at Magic City who moved to Atlanta from out west and wound up dancing after getting tired of working at KFC. It’s a trip to hear how girls explain how they ended up on the pole. Many assume that they was born being some kind of freak and just wanted to do it, while others still believe the “I’m doing it to pay for school routine.” “Cali” was honest about how she got started, and how she got comfortable doing it, I never heard that angle before.
The episode also breaks down the difference between a “stripper” and an “entertainer.” I’m hoping some of you have been lucky enough to learn the difference by now and feel that you’ve got your money’s worth.
Anyways, check out the clip. I know it’s early in the morning, but it’s worth a look. Kinda sorta NSFW, but you’ll be alright.
