Bringing you another episode of the Sonic Route with a dude that made one of my favorite projects this year, RaRa.
For this one we rode around in a 1972 Chevy Impala. All original interior. Candy Apple red paint. Matter of fact, the car was so original it still had a 8-track player in there. Everywhere we rode around people were saying “nice car” and giving us the thumbs up sign.

indeed it is. i had not heard of him prior to attending the joint you had at 5Spot a few weeks back(before hip hop awards). During his performance I said to myself “his sound reminds me of P$C”, namely because of the UGK influence….i loved it. By the time i left I had 2 CD’s – one for the house and one for the car, and they’ve been in constant rotation ever since. I find it refreshing to hear a classic sound a-la UGK….trill! Thank you, RaRa for this project, and thank you Maurice for presenting that showcase.
