If you’re in New York City on Thursday, October 18th holler at me at S.O.B.’s as I’ll be hosting Leaders of the New Cool’s showcase at the CMJ Music Marathon.
If you frequent these parts you already know about Leaders of the New Cool. It’s the premier traveling showcase that pretty much spots the best talent and gives them the stage years before they go on to become stars. Wale, Big K.R.I.T, Meek Mill, Curren$y, Dom Kennedy, J.Cole, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Stalley are included in that bunch.
This year’s CMJ Edition will feature Casey Veggies, Mr. Muthaf*ckin’ Exquire, Travis $cott as well as performances from Armstrong, Reese, Two-9, Nemo Achida and Chance the Rapper.
In the coming weeks expect a big roll out from VEVO who is sponsoring the show, as well as some giveaways.
