With the One Music Fest coming up on September 1st, the organizers of the event will be hosting a “State of the Atlanta Music Scene” press conference and round table tonight at Studioplex down in the 4th Ward.
The panelists will include One Music Fest founder J. Carter, Keinon Johnson (Interscope Records), Peniece LeGall (SESAC), Aaron Arnold (Music is My Business), Shanti Das (Press Reset Entertainment), Salah Ananse (Celebrity DJ) and some dude named Maurice Garland. It will be moderated by V-103 radio personality Egypt Sherrod.
What will be talked about at this roundtable? I’m assuming a little bit of everything since there’s somebody on it from all angles of the game. Everybody on the panel is pretty chill and laidback for the most part, so there shouldn’t really be any sparks or chairs flying. But, it should be an interesting talk nonetheless.
