Rick Ross feat. Andre 3000 – “Sixteen”

From the time the tracklisting for Rick Ross’ God Forgives, I Don’t leaked, everybody has been waiting on this song. It was safe to assume that the track would be on some “hip hop shit” with them just rapping 16 bars. You’re almost correct, they actually rap about 16 bars not being enough.

Song is cool, it’s going to sound blasphemous, but this is the closest Ross has sound to being the “new Biggie” that Puff Daddy crowned him as a couple years ago. As for Dre…well, I stopped falling out of my chair about every word out his mouth a while ago, but he does a good job with the illustrations on this track, says some real ish about dealing with women and why he doesn’t come outside as usual. He does get a bit sloppy at points, but hey, whatever.

I told myself I was going to try to actually enjoy it a few more times before I attempted to write some diatribe about it, sorry, couldn’t help myself.

Dre treats us to a guitar solo at the end as well.
