Crazy thing is, after seeing the commercial so many times, I was THIS close to going out and getting a pair of either the green or yellow adidas Crazy Light 2′s. But, out of nowhere the kind people at adidas Basketball sent me a pair. I will consider it a belated birthday gift.
These shoe boast being the lightest basketball shoe ever and I’m not going to dispute it. This shoes are lighter than some of the dishes in my kitchen….and I don’t eat out of Tupperware either.
The shoes weigh all of 9.5 ounces and they fit like on the foot like a sock, straight up. If you aren’t hooping in these, they could easily be your go to sockless sneaker this summer. The whole shoe is pretty much made of mesh and you feel ventilated with every step you take.
Beyond the shoe itself, adidas went all out with the packaging too.
I don’t know if you get your own name plate or anything if you buy them from Foot Locker, but I can’t lie, opening this package and seeing “Maurice Garland” on it made me feel like somebody for a day. Only thing missing was confetti popping out. Thanks guys.
